SOU 991118 This unusual car, partially hidden behind an 89' triple-hitch TTX flat, is track panel car. It is one of 27 such cars (Series 991101-991127) converted from gondolas in 1970 by the Southern's Coster shops. A picture of 991117 appears in James Kinkaid's Southern Railway Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment (Morning Sun).

SOU 991637 This gondola was bringing up the tail of a westbound ribbon rail train near Freindship Road crossing, November 20, 2000. It appears to to have originally been a Southern class GA gondola built in 1943 with wood sides, but it received steel sides and fixed ends some time later.
