| NW 514568 was at Bluefield, WV on 26 August 2001. The framing and chains hold a prefabricated track switch at an angle for transportation. |
 
| NW 528103 was at Pearisburg, VA on 2 August 2002. This 1357cf class G25 gondola was built by the Virginian Railway at its Princeton shops in 1942. Inside length is 46', and coupled length is 49'6". Originally VGN 22016, from series VGN 22000-22099 (and NW 122000-122099 after the 1960 merger). It acquired its white paint when it was converted to haul wheel sets and renumbered (apparently directly from its VGN number) as NW 590517. It was renumbered again in 9-86 to NW 528103. With a step cut into one side, it survives in service as a companion car for cranes. |
