Norfolk & Western HC78 Three Bay Covered Hoppers

The 500 HC78 three bay covered hoppers in series 178501-179000 were built in 1980 at Roanoke, VA with trough hatches and gravity discharge gates. These 4750cf capacity hoppers received an FDA approved lining.
