Norfolk & Western HC70 Three Bay Covered Hoppers

The one thousand 4740cf class HC70 hoppers in series 176000-176999 were built in 1970 by Pullman Standard. The ORER description for these cars reads "Covered Hop., Stl., Hop. Trough Hatch Bottom, Self Cleaning, FDA Lining, Gravity Discharges, Axle Spac. 5'10", Truck Ctrs. 45'".
