Norfolk Southern Class H56 Hoppers

The H56 class of five-bay rapid discharge aluminum bodied hoppers in NS series 376000-376325 were built by Trinity in 1994. These cars were purchased for dedicated servce for Georgia Power, although a few cars can be found mixed in with trains of private owner rapid discharge hoppers. These 286K GRL cars have a 53'1" outside length and a 3800 cu. ft. capacity.
