Norfolk Southern Class G101R Gondolas

NS Class G101R gondolas were rebuilt from hopper cars in the "Top Gon®" rebuild program.

Class G101R is a 'late' production Ton Gon® as evidenced by the lack of support ribs on the underside. A late 1996 design change to a stronger floor removed the need for the supports.
