Norfolk Southern Cabooses

All of the cabooses on this page are in active service on the Norfolk Southern. See the Norfolk & Western cabooses page for images of retired cabooses.

The book Cabooses of the Norfolk and Western, by Robert G. Bowers and James F. Brewer, published by the Norfolk & Western Historical Society (ISBN 0-9633254-1-8) is the reference on N&W cabooses. Most, if not all, of the remaining active NS cabooses are former N&W.
