Seneca Falls - Academy Square

DLW 807 DLW 807 I waited at Academy Square, the original Mynderse Academy school building, for the train to come westbound. It is seen here crossing Cayuga St. (US Route 20/NY Route 5).

I managed a couple more decent pictures as it passed the old Mynderse Academy building. I can remember watching Conrail trains out those windows the during class in my middle-school days...

Seneca Falls - Rumsey Street

In the afternoon, I chased the return (eastbound) trip from Seneca Falls to Auburn.

FGLK 1751 FGLK 1751 I reconnected with the train on its return trip at Rumsey Street in Seneca Falls. The first picture shows the train passing Goulds Pumps, with a zoom lens accentuating the condition of the joined rail.

I also took a few roster shots of the equipment as it passed.

Seneca Falls - Sylvania

FGLK 1751 DLW 807 I caught up with the train again at the old Sylvania plant. The shot of 807 framed by trees in my favorite shot from Saturday.

Lehigh Valley Junction

LV Junction I next caught the E8's on the bridge over the Cayuga-Seneca Canal near Lehigh Valley Junction.
