Fake N&W 518272 Despite being letter as N&W 518272, this caboose is certainly not an N&W class CF caboose. Photographed in April 2004, it is located at the intersection of VA Route 311 and County Route 600 in downtown Paint Bank, VA.

Caboose at Farmhouse Restaurant This unidentified caboose has been part of The Farmhouse restaurant in Christiansburg, VA since 1960 or 1970. It was reportedly (unconfirmed) purchased from the N&W Railway at this time. It sits on a foundation sans trucks, and has been completely remodelled inside as a private dining room.

Fake WSSB 671
Fake WSSB 671 Fake Winston Salem Southbound Railway WSSB 671 was stored on a siding at Glade Spring, VA along with several other pieces of rolling stock, including N&W 557546 (ex-NKP 446), and Long Island Railroad 58 along with five or so other cars including this old Central of Georgia Box Car with their "The Right Way" slogan showing through the fading paint.

The actual WSSB caboose numbers stopped as 670. The kind folks on the RR Caboose Yahoo! Group report that this is ex-SCL 0835.

This caboose was moved to the North Carolina Transportation Museum at Spender, NC in early 2002.
