Joe Shaw's Railroad Images Pseudo-Legalese
About the Site
I try to keep my images as high-quality as possible so as not to obscure
details helpful for modelling. This tends to result in sizable images,
making this a very graphics intensive and bandwidth consuming site. This
may make it painful for visitors with slow modem connections, but I feel
the quality of the images takes precedence. To compensate, I keep the
pages simple and avoid all the fancy/cool/useless graphics and animations.
About the Pictures
Images dated after 16 December 2004 were taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT.
Images dated betwee May 2004 and mid-December 2005 were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 8700.
Images dated between 9 August 2002 and April 2004 were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 5700.
Images dated between 25 March 2000 and 8 August 2002 were taken with an Epson PhotoPC 850Z.
Images dated before 25 March 2000 were taken with an Epson PhotoPC 700.
Copyright
All images are copyrighted by their photographer, which is usually the owner of this web site as mentioned below. Most of the images have a copyright statement containing my email address. I try keep it non-obnoxious and out of the way so as not to obscure the subject, while still providing useful contact information.
If you wish to use any of these pictures on your web site, just ask by sending me an email at the address below. I've happily granted most of the requests I've gotten so far. If the images' copyright mark lists an email address other than joeshaw@krunk.org, then use that address to ask permission.
