Train 832 heads upriver in February 2006, passing under the new cantilever signals that replaced the old, leaning Color Position Light signal mast seen below.

Eastbound train 846 passes the leaning signal tower at Robinson in February 2005, photographed from both sides of the tracks.

Train 274 approaches the Lurich Road grade crossing in September 2004. Little evidence remains today that a center siding used to start here in Norfolk and Western days. The background ridge is on the other side of the New River.

Trains 55T, S15 and 771 passed Robinson one after the other on a lazy Sunday afternoon in April 2003. The narrow space between the rocks and the river forces tight, but dramatic, photo angles.
