Morgans Cut << East << DUBLIN >> West >> Newbern
Dublin is the location of the first passing siding on the Pulaski District west of Radford. There is a passing siding on the west side of town, between the Wysor (next to Route 100) and Newbern signals. The former station near downtown has been remodelled and currently houses doctors offices.

Tarin 112 rolls west with a colorful mix of locomotives in July 2005, photographed between the Cemetary Road and Route 617 grade crossings. The previous day, train 22A passes under the Route 100 overpass.

Train 112 approaches the Dublin station in late March 2005. Thanks to some early Spring rainshowers, the grass has already starting turning green.

Train 15T approaches Dublin on a July 2003 evening. Its schedule will soon be changed to leave Roanoke later and have it drop off cars at Radford, making the opportunity for daylight photos this far west much less likely. A few weeks later in August 2004, catfish 9304 leads train 22A west at the route 613 grade cross in the early morning.

The circus train eases through the S-curve on the east end of town in April 2004.

The circus train was also photopraphed at Pembroke, Radford and Max Meadows.

Local train V37 heads west on an October 2003 Sunday morning. The train has just passes the signals at Wysor.

Maersk Sealand painted SD40-2 NS 3329 was in a train 125 as it passed the remodelled station in January 2003. This same train is also pictured on the Morgan's Cut and Christiansburg pages.
