Chrismans Mill Road crosses the tracks at grade between Christiansburg and
Vicker. The "Charleston Grade" signals at MP N293.3 are a few curves down
the hill to the west.

In April 2004, train 822 climbs east of the Charleston Grade signals (out of sight around the curve) with the V51 pushers shoving hard on the rear.
With a cut of Top Gons on the front on the train to fill out tonnage,
NS 9000 leads grain train 51J west in February 2004.
With a background of green golf course grass, yet another Dash-9 rolls train 17M through the cut in November 2003.
An 'albino catfish' leads train 125 through the curves leading up to
the grade crossing as it climbs east on the first day of March 2003.
On another March 2003 day, train 18M heads into the cut on the east side
of the grade crossing.
