Norcross (East) CELCO (West) Narrows

The Celanese corporation's Celco plant is one of the largest customers on the Whitethorne district. Served by the V29 and V33 locals out of Radford, it receives inbound loads in both tank cars and box cars, as well as coal. It is less than a mile east of the New River bridge, where the Whitethorne district ends.

Conductor Price protects a backup move as local V33 switches the Celco plant in April 2003, shoving a cut of cars from near the scale track through the 'wash rack' before stopping at the switch for the plant siding. After throwing the switch, they continue to shove the cars, filled with pulp and acetic acid, by the rest of their train.
