An empty hopper train passes the crossovers in August 2002 while waiting
for an eastbound train with a BNSF pumkin unit to arrive. The downside
of the wonderfully scenic hollows of West Virginia is that you loose the
sunlight quicker in the evening. By the time the train arrived, the
crossovers were in the shade, but the sunlight was still hitting the
train down around the curve, resulting in an interesting 'mood shot'.
A train of side-dump cars being loaded with large rocks from the
quarry at Blake in July 2002. Also in July, SD60M 6801 leads a
loaded coal train eastbound. In August 2002, an Operation Lifesaver
GP59 brings an empty hopper train around the reverse curves.
